Troy Harper

General Manager

Troy joined Linear Capital in 2003 as General Manager. He is responsible for overseeing the firm's project and investment operations, enterprise risk and resources to meet its needs. He has a strong background in retail and commercial property project management and development. Over his career he has worked and lived in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and China.

Troy has also been been Director and Responsible Manager for Aviator Capital since 2014. He responsibilities included regulatory compliance, asset assessment and capital raising.

Troy has been active within the Australian business community, holding a number of senior roles within industry organisations, the most prominent of these was Board Delegate to the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Director of the Australian Chamber Alliance. He has been Chairman of the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Vice President of the Property Council of Australia.

He holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree, majoring in Marketing from the University of Tasmania.

Geoffrey Harper

Founder

Geoff has been a leader in the Tasmanian property industry for the  past 20 years, having been involved in two of Hobart's most iconic redevelopments, the Elizabeth Street Pier and the Hobart Silos. His property experience encompasses both property  financing and hands on project management, giving him excellent insight into the full development spectrum.

Geoff has had a long association with Tasmania, being an early member of the Tasmanian Abalone Industry and the previous President of the Tasmanian Abalone Council.
  

Geoff has been active in the Tasmanian community both as the former Chairman of the Tasmanian Racing Club and former Chairman of the Bendigo Community Bank at Glenorchy.
   


He has a Diploma of Business Studies majoring in Accounting.
